Show Off Your Christmas Cards

The art of Christmas Card writing is sadly slowly dying, however, for the ones you do receive i'm sure you'll want to display in style.
So here are a few thrifty ideas that can be created minimal effort but have maximum effect.
All you need is: Pegs - String - Twigs & Ribbon

Liven up your kitchen cupboards.
Simply tag or tape a piece of wide ribbon down the centre of your cupboard and attach the cards with tradional wooden pegs. Functional and pretty.

Twig Tree
This is one of my favourites, go hunting for some nice long twigs, as rustic and as twisted as you like. Then find a suitable vase, jug, pot or the like and arrange as you wish, (this is very natural so you dont need to be a flower arranger or very artistic for this.)
You can either tie your cards on with ribbon or string or use bigger pegs to attach straight to the twig.

Ribbon Christmas Tree
If you have a bare wall, this is perfect. Use as many lengths of ribbon (or fairy lights) as you like to create your perfect tree.
Use your little wooden pegs to fix the cards on and there you have it, a great wall display of cards.
Deck your Hall...
Often forget during the decorating, your stairs are a great way to display your cards, most people who visit will also see them.
Wind string up your bannister, use little pegs to hold the cards in place (big pegs will be too heavy).

Peg Wreath
This one takes a little more time, but looks great when finished (plus you can use it year after year).
Glue big wooden pegs to a circle of card (size of your choice) with a glue gun, add ribbon to hang and away you go.
Big Twig
This looks ace, the twig does not need to be perfect, infact the more usual the better. This can be attached to your wall and used all year round with family photos, but at christmas, let your cards create the art.

Coat Hanger Hanger...
OK, so you need one piece of equipment here, a old coat hanger!
This is quirky and cute and can be hund anywhere. Use ribbon or string to the hanger and attach cards with little wooden pegs.
String Tree
This is too cute not to include, one length of string can create such a wonderful effect. make this tree as big or as dainty as you like. Little pegs are perfect this.
Go on give it a go.

So, i am only scratching the surface here, there are lots more ideas to display the lovely cards you receive. Please share with us other ways you show off your cards...
