whether this is for you or not, I think it's quite a nice idea that fills Christmas Eve evening with a little extra magic and sparkle. It'll almost make this day as exciting as the big day itself.

Christmas Eve Boxes can be picked up readily and suit every budget, however, a wooden is a good shout so you can use it year after year.

Here are some lovely ideas to fill your box with:

Christmas pyjamas.

everyone loves new pyjamas, so special Christmas Eve ones would be the best!
snuggly pj's or novelty onesie, they're great to put on straight away and get stuck into the other activities in their Christmas Eve Box.

Christmas Book.

Story time on Christmas Eve can be made extra special with a festive book. Personalised ones add a bit of extra Father Christmas magic.
Reindeer Food.

This a simple and fun idea, simply mix porridge oats with edible glitter to create the 'food'. Then before bed sprinkle a path of food outside to guide the reindeer to your house..... They won't be able to resist this delicious treat.

A Plate for Santa.

Santa will be looking forward to his refreshments no doubt, so imagine his joy when they are on a beautiful plate... The children will love to arrange his goodies on this special plate.
Santa's Goodies

place these in the box with instructions from Santa, these may include his preference of tiple. Don't forget Rudolf's carrot.

Christmas Mug

Settle the children down with a hot chocolate or warm milk in a new Christmas Eve mug.
you could even include the hot chocolate and marshmallows in the box...
A Treat for the Tree

A new sparkly or home made bauble for the tree is a great way to mark the year, so why not include one the Christmas Eve box so the children can place it with pride somewhere where Santa will see it when he visits.

Santa's Magic Key

so, if you don't have a chimney this is the answer. Find an old key and make a tag saying 'Santa's magic key' this can be place anywhere the elves can get it.
Now Santa can sneak in the front door while you're all asleep.
there are more ideas like, Christmas films, stockings, puzzle books.... Just be aware it could go on all night if you include too much, plus it's nice to keep some ideas in 'the bank' for next year.
please comment with other suggestions and gave a great Christmas Eve. xx
